Preston Clarke's profile

Creative Merchandising

In January 2017, the Ordinary Guys 'OG' brand was conceived while I was mulling over my job dissatisfaction. It is now a merchandise line that rides on a wave of creative branding to blossom into a full fledged business.

We created designs for fashion accessories including; slides, caps and neck-pieces. Peep the Giftbox. Fun-fact: I work on the cap prints and develop packaging concepts exclusively as part of my daily schedule.
Perfect for the beach!
OG merchandise (OG solids, DumbShxt collection, AfroSoulVibes collection, For The Kulture, OG Neckpiece, OG Dustbags) on display at Maison Fahrenheit Hotel in Lagos
OG patterned hats painted on with acrylic. The idea was to create a limited edition line of keepsakes. Worked with my cousin Toju on this one.
Limited edition 'ForThe Kulture' caps inspired by the Young Kulture musical tour heralded by rappers D-Truce and Jamal Swiss.
We make custom slides to order using our proprietary product design specifications. Took a while to hack it, especially with the initial R&D costs, but the frequent market visits gave me some leverage during negotiations later on. This has been a fun concept to explore.
Neck-piece Designs
We embarked on a sustenance campaign with our customers using stickers. Worked for the brand in ways we did not imagine.

I can't hear you. Louder!
