Ringa Exhibition on Taal
Exploring the theme of ‘Language’ This exhibition aimed to provide a platform to build towards a more authentic representation of the intricacy of South African identity through Isibheqe. Collaborating with Pule and Sandile as masters of this ancient writing system and how unique it is to South Africa in its origin and its continental influence. In partnership with Play Braamfontein, Afro Punk and Kitchener's it was by far the craziest nights we’ve ever hosted. Officially exposed to the Braamfontein art scene and an international brand watch, the show was so good it was curated all the way to the Cape, as part of introducing Umuzi to the community there and participating in the First Thursdays Cape Town scene, bringing it full circle.
