Web Design & Development
(Ongoing Project Sample)
A site focused on improving the product search experience for consumers. The site's primary focus revolves around forcing a competitive balance between online and retail competitors. Such a site will impact the use of traditional search engines for product searches, educate consumers in understanding that Amazon is not always the best choice, and provide a cheaper, more focused and authentic advertising avenue for those who run product advertising campaigns.

This site is under active development and remains confidential in detail. Only a small sample of a much larger set of work is shared below and online.

A sample of rapid-prototype implementation is currently hosted at 34.214.246.196 (AWS lightsail instance). PHP (server-side scripting) constructs the initial HTML5 structure for core pages. CSS3 styles the HTML5 structure in the browser. Javascript manages the page's state and interactions with the user until another core site page is requested. Javascript takes the form of JQuery, AJAX (JSON), and other libraries / methods as needed.

Conceptualization
Quick and dirty freehand sketches are the best way to transfer conceptual thoughts into something concrete. They are easily erased and redrawn. Use cases can easily be acted out to ensure the design fits desired objectives.

Design
Digitally designed images created from conceptual stage sketches provide visual reference and color palettes to work from during the implementation stage. Its a level of finalization that prevents new features from creeping in without further approval and design revisions. *The following are outdated designs and concepts for this project.

Development
Implementing page designs becomes much simplier when you have color-codes, images, and layout structure sizes pre-defined during the design stage. Visit 34.214.246.196 to view the implementation sample for this project. Cross-browser support is not fully implemented so for best viewing use Google Chrome or Microsoft's Internet Explorer (current release).
