Three images above are examples of the photos I have worked on for CARE for Sandy.
Example taken from a set of 200 slides taken in 1965 in Hong Kong. Many of the slides had very strong colour casts with original colours lost by either a magenta cast or cyan cast. All slides were marked with abrasions, spots and some chemical damage.
Original black and white photo was damaged by a poor effort at cutting out from the background. There were some scratches and blotches. The skin tone was affected by the surface texture of the original photo.
Original 3“ x 5“ black and white was dim and client wanted the photo to have stronger definition and be enlarged.
Colourizing black and white photos - no colour photos supplied, so colours match client brief. The images are also affected by a surface texture.
