Experimental typography project. The typography is all hand drawn then illustrator then turned into 3d using cinema4d.
This was done for a short film by Graham Elliott. 'The film Book of the Night' is about a set of dreams, the typography is created for each dream sequence.
1. Taj Mahal... an artist is sketching in Central pk but her drawing are of the Taj Mahal. A hole appears in her sketch book and she looks thru it and she IS at the Taj Mahal.
2. The Blob.... A man is followed by a big black blob... he looks at it closely and it's a swirl of pornography.
3. Not So FUN FAIR... a ride on a rollercoaster becomes a nightmare of sadism
4. The Walrus clock... Set in the 1890's, a girl is plagued by a clock with the face of a walrus... it is going backwards and actually takes her back in time.
5. The Crows... Adventure dream in whicha man is chased by the crows that fly out from his umbrella.They try to get his mothers wedding ring that he is wearing.
6. Post Its.... a gal in an office cannot catch up on her tasks and eventually her whole desk erupts and she's attacked and finally covered in Post Its.
7. The Remote Control... a man walks around a city controlling everything with a giant remote control
