“Wellness” [working title]

Developed and produced as a part of the Film Acting course at StDH/Uniarts (Stockholm, Sweden), 2017/18.

Format: 15 minute short. Narrative, comedy drama.

An expanded teaching exercise aiming to give professional actors greater on-set and in-front of lens experience. 

1 of 3 shorts shot back-to-back in the lovely Lindvallen ski resort and general Sälen area.

 

Shot (quickly!) with two Panasonic GH4’s and Samyang DS prime lenses through Metabones adapters, recording to a Black Magic Video Assist at HD 10bit, this was a run-and-gun cinematic project with no camera or lighting support. Lit with a mixed portable kit including a 575HMI, Kino Flo’s, two Joker Bug 400W’s, several crates of classic tungstens, Dedo’s, Shair Light LEDs and my trusty bag of domestic bulbs and lighting secrets. These stills are quick Lightroom grades for immediate use whilst the project is in post-production.
