Markham Board of Trade holds an annual business awards event to commemorate the many hardworking businesses in the area. They provided my first year Graphic Design program with a competition to design some elements for the event. I was lucky enough to have been chosen, and given the opportunity to design the promotional poster, event program, and ticket for their 2017 awards show. Their theme was circus or carnival, and I approached it with an elegant and professional design, reflecting the qualities of Markham Board of Trade. The design for the poster was done completely with Illustrator, and the elements were carried through to the program and ticket.
