In the 1986 Olympic Games, Dick Fosbury set an Olympic Record for jumping 7 ft 4.25 in. while wearing his two colored Adidas Shoes.
Inspired by the same progressive thinking that Fosbury used in his revolutionary backwards jump, Defiance-3 products push the boundaries of training and performance.
The Defiance-3 line is built as a homage to Dick Fosbury and his boundary pushing mentality. The aesthetics are modeled after his 2 colored shoes, symbolizing the old and the new, progression and innovation.

The package design is based off the 2 color system and is meant to feel utopian and mathematical in its design. There are hints of athletic traits but overall its striving to push the buyer to sense the futuristic characteristics of the product. The 3 products include an athletic smart watch, an pair of Adidas training shoes, and athletic socks.
As promotion for the product line, an experiential tradeshow space was developed to give audience an opportunity to dive into the analytical world of Defiance-3. With the ability to test product, the inner curved walls would track and display back information on their statistics both on jumping and running, with a comparison to Dick Fosbury's jumping skills.
A point of sale display would be used in retail situations for stores carrying the Defiance-3 products. It's built to display the products in the forefront and then to give the customers access to the mathematical and scientific statistics of each item.
