The identity system of 2016's TEDx Athens event called Origins represents a continuous movement. A pointer, consisted by Origins, leading to the future.
The typography of Origins was carefully selected as a play between past and future. A dark/fun reference, celebrating 80's sci-fi movies and also a homage to John Carpenter and the font Albertus which appeared in the title sequences of most of his films. Moreover, titles and supplementary information appear in a dramatic-stretched typography propelled by the movement forward. To origins.
