    Two acrylic paintings produced as final works for one of my classes a year ago. Tea for Two. acrylic on found fabric. Exploration with images of the human body and various contexts. On going series. Who Do We Shoot?. acrylic on canvas. Based on the work by Yue Minjun, Chinese artist, satircal Chinese artist whose work often comments or satirizes images and sentiments towards the Chinese government. My piece re-worked his using imagery and highlighting colours that reflect a criticism of both Chinese and American politics - two of the most influencial powers of our time, as well as the falsities of both Chinese Communism and American Democracy.
