For the release of my ep "Goth Beatles/Reincarnation" I wanted to be ambitious about the visuals. I started out by using a photo that was taken in 1913 using a process known as Autochrome Lumiere. Using glass plates, a backlight and potato starch, it was the most widely used process for capturing color for about 30 years. Using that photo and multiple layers of textures, I was able to create the same kind of grunge and grime that was present in the music itself. I feel it visually embodies the music it's meant to promote.
