"Fools, Masks and Faces"

"Fools, Masks and Faces" is a series of paintings produced during Nude Figure Drawing classes in my 4th year at the Academy, 2016/2017. Going beyond mare copying the subject's physical forms and poses, and instead using them as inspiration, I dealt with psychological interpretations of my inner senses and searched for the meaning conceived. This work speaks of what is beyond (or underneath) the form, trying to represent the motion of emotions itself. The work here presented is a selection of a more than 30 paintings total.
