conceptual lighting design using innovative lyttron material
The objective of this project was to envision for Bayer Plastics, a leading plastic manufacturer, lighting designs that utilize their innovative lyttron material. Lyttron is an electroluminescence (EL) coating that could be applied to injection-molded plastic parts, form-fitted to complex curves, and is better than existing EL products that can only fold in 2D.
The products envisioned pushes this new material to exhibit its beauty in giving a soft glow while maintaining thin. The material is ideal for showcasing merchandise such as perfume bottles, wine bottles and providing beutifying lights to people putting on new clothes.
