GREENPEACE @ GLASTONBURY
DEFORESTATION
The Greenpeace build team built a whole field based around 2017's project 'Deforestation', including a 20m tall tree cycling through all 4 seasons using lights and special FX, plus accompanying installations.

I was part of a team of carpenters constructing and set dressing a series of grottos. A space for Glastonbury’s 200,000 attendees to play in, the 3 connected grottos included seating and staircases built from reused timber, a vac-formed plastic ceiling, water feature, and 1600 twinkling LED lights. Working as part of such a large, ambitious team expanded my carpentry and fabrication skills, and confidence across the board. Watching a field full of people rave in front of our creation was a real career highlight!
