How Christmas Came To Be

Story

In 2007, a piece of advertising history was discovered in the basement of a New York building: the only remaining original copy of (or: Why Coca-Cola talks crap).
A book that, according to experts, might very well be the true story of the origins of Christmas.

The book was put up for auction at Sotheby's, where Charles Saatchi bought it for an alleged $340,000. With his permission, the book was subsequently loaned to the American Center of Communication (ACC) where it can still be found today.

The story, about Jack Doom and Bill Dickson, can be seen as the epitome of modern storytelling. A level of storytelling that's still aspired by agencies all over the world, and especially by Doom&Dickson. It's for this reason that Doom&Dickson have decided to publish a replica of the restored original copy.
