Come Together is a Charity music festival hosted each year in Zhuhai - a coastal city in Guangdong Province of China. It started growing big in 2016, next year - in 2017 - there was a huge need of designing a festival identity which may be kept for a few years with slight theme modifications each year.
We’ve created a huge set of assets including all the different variations of posters, banners, flyers, tickets, and merchandise to keep these guys covered for a while - so next year we will have more free time to focus on helping the unprivileged children, which is the main fundraising goal of the festival.

Fonts
Because of the festival’s bilingual origin, all of the collateral had to be filled with both - English and Chinese - contents. And it is always quite a challenge since Chinese fonts are nothing like Latin or Cyrillic. We’ve decided to go for a modern geometrical Chinese font - CaoNiMa. For English content, we’ve picked the nice condensed sans - Big Noodle Titling - which allowed us to keep the content areas of Chinese and English around the same size.
Mighty Morphin Power Backgrounds
The background is also one of the main elements in all of the collateral.
It’s made as an expanding soundwave, which helps all of the imagery to follow the same theme.

Either it’s a poster, a ticket, or a navigation sign - everything is related.
The Guitar
We’ve taken the main element of any rock festival - the guitar
(which in our case was that sexy Fender Stratocaster) - and customized its pickguard with school items doodles,
so we can use it on various printables and spread the theme across all the elements even more.
