cloud in the background which is usually the aftermath of an enormous explosion.
It also aims to raise intrigue and curiosity by raising questions in the narrative:
“Are the characters even aware of the chaos behind them?” or “Did the characters
choose to ignore the doom of the world to live in their own imagined state of bliss?”.

As my illustration was made to resemble the cover of a comic book and potentially
the first issue of a series, I wanted to establish the idea to my viewers that there is
a larger story to be unearthed beyond the cover page. This endeavor was dependent
on the execution and delivery of both visuals and typography appropriately. I have
done so by referencing multiple sources that exhibit such qualities.
