3D typography for London RIverside Walk Gardens

This is a project about 3D typography, to make a landmark which can show people the story of London Riverside Walk Gardens. It is a small place which faces to River Thames. The gardens’ name belonged to Westminster Abbey. It stood and was Sir Robert Grosvenor’s private place in 1730. It was demolished in 1890 and then constructed work began on Milbank Penitentiary in 1812. It was a vast six-sided prison hold criminals awaiting deportation to Australia until 1890. By this, I have designed the phrase “The prisoner’s journey to Australia started here” for showing people who live in this area the history clearly. I have designed the railings on the metal sheet for the concept of prison. The edge corners made crosses look like the masts of the boats because there was a boat journey of prisoners to Australia in this place.
