This helmet was an experiment with creating a Halo style armor piece. It was done as an art test for outsourcing company Trace Studio. The main difficulty was to match the model with the only one concept art (front ortho, see below) as close as possible while maintaining the overall style and forms rhythm. Initially I've created a concept sculpt in ZBrush and then went on with retopology and further refining in Softimage.
