shoe ottoman
Designed for small space studio living, this compact furnishing is a shoe cabinet, bench, and side table.
Project brief: Design something using inspiration from 18th century French Rococo period.
Designed for single renters, this shoe ottoman is made of sturdy cardboard and requires no assembly tools.
It can pack flatly and fits four pairs of shoes when assembled. Because of its hollow material, it can easily
be moved around from room to room.
When placed near the entryway, one can access shoes on one side, and sit on the other side to put them on.
The flat surface also acts as a table for newspapers or coffee. In a studio apartment, this
can also function as a coffee table beside a sofa.
