Remote controller for TV concept design

My first project in 2018 is a remote controller. First, I had to decide what controller to design for. I looked for a remote controller that my smartphone never replace it.
It has the following three conditions. 1. If you need to operate without looking at the controller (Smartphone is difficult to see without operation) 2. Smart phone is not functioning enough. 3. If you need to find it quickly when you need it.
I think it is a TV remote control.I designed the situation using the TV remote controller and its surroundings. We always look for TV remote controls. It is flattened between the objects on the table or between the cushions of the sofa. I designed a remote control that was not flat.
This remote control has a form that does not fit between the cushions. I came up with an idea in a tree - studded ax. Doki is the Korean word for the ax. When the protruding part is inserted between the gaps, it emits light once every 30 seconds. When I put it on the table it is not flat and easy to find and lift.

저는 시대가 지나가도 사라지지 않을 물건을 주제로 디자인해보고 싶었습니다. 모든 것이 디지털화되어 스마트폰속으로 들어가는 시대에 우리주변에 남아있는 사물들은 어떤게 있을까? 하는 생각을 했습니다.
제 눈에 들어온 것은 TV 리모콘이었습니다. 리모콘은 기능이 너무 많고 다양하며, 빠르게 TV를 켜고 끄고 조작해야하고, 안보고도 조작할 수 있어야 합니다. 이 3가지 독특한 특성때문에 TV리모콘은 스마트폰에 흡수당하지 않고 우리 곁에 있습니다. TV리모콘을 다시 디자인하기로 한 김에, '얇고 작고 미니멀하게 만들려는 디지털시대의 좋은디자인 공식'과는 다른 방법으로 디자인을 하고 싶었습니다. 사물이 가진 상징성을 유머러스하게 표현한 물건으로 디자인해보고자 했습니다.
TV리모콘이 사용되는 순간, 행태, 그 환경에 그렇게 디자인 할수 있는 단서가 있을거라고 생각했습니다. 저의 생각은 빠른조작을 위해 존재를 유지하고 있는 리모콘, 이 것을 찾기 위해 아이러니하게도 우리는 얼마나 많은 시간을 낭비하는가' 였습니다. 보이지 않는 리모콘을 찾아헤매다 보면 십중 팔구 이녀석은 침대나 소파, 쿠션 사이에 껴있는 경험 다들 해보셨을거라고 생각합니다.
매번 소파사이에 끼어있는 리모콘이라면 차라리 소파나 쿠션사이에 꽂혀도 잘 보이게 디자인할 수 있지 않을까 생각했습니다. 저는 이 리모콘의 이름을 '도끼'라고 지었습니다. 애초에 잃어버리지 않게끔 틈사이에 꽂아놓는 디자인입니다.
탁상위에 놓건 쿠션사이에 놓건 잘 보이고 잘 느껴지도록 디자인했습니다.
버튼들 또한 안보고도 잘 누를 수 있도록 도끼로 찍은 듯한 양감을 가진 버튼으로 디자인했습니다.
