My speculative project on occupying lost space. These secluded locations are often claimed back by the original green inhabitants or remain harsh and bare by the barriers of modern day architecture. I am fascinated by what these spaces can tell me.
My design hints at contemporary d.i.y plywood furniture, which is something people already recognize as quirky and innovative. It plays on these already perceived notions towards d.i.y plywood furniture to intrigue passersby’s.
Using the street artethos: I hope to illustrate how these spaces could potentially be used and justenable everyday people an opportunity to ponder and critique both the space andthe way its occupied.
