Personal animation for the holiday season, taking inspiration from the Christmas parol lanterns of the Philippines (that look like festive magic circles) and a little bit of a Dr. Strange reference.
Step-by-step process. Initial sketches and thumbnails were done traditionally, then translated to frame-by-frame straight ahead animation in Photoshop.
