In response to an International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) brief about craft I chose to do it about a upstarting carpenter based in my hometown.

It was presented in a handcrafted box made with Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) the most common wood a carpenter would use. I bound the book myself with a slab stitch and red thread. I cropped pages shorter so you could get a glimpse of the image behind the paragraph without using the same page. The end of the book is a series of images of a collection of necklaces the creator made.
