Theta Foundation Fundraiser Website Redesign
As a Graphic Designer at The Basement I was given the opportunity to redesign the pansy patch fundraising site and update the logo to match the fundraising theme of that year. This site was created by a small team that included a Creative Director, Project manager, myself and two Developers. The client's goals were to make the site responsive, visually customizable for future themes and the primary UX goal was to make the donation process easier and faster. The visual theme was based on the location of the organization's grand convention. That year's location was at an Art Deco themed resort in Phoenix, Arizona.
I created a fun geometric pattern of pansies that could be used throughout their marketing creative. This creative included animated gifs of blooming pansies, shareable post images, email imagery and printable pansy labels used at the convention. We made sure that the user could donate from any point on the site as well as save their progress in the donation process. The client was very happy with the site and launched it in March 2016. The foundation raised more than double it's original goal. They continue to use this layout today and were able to customize the theme to match the branding of this year's grand convention location.
