Changing perceptions often requires sparking an emotion. Knowing this, we set out almost a year to produce a destination video. One that at its core embodied all that is Baltimore – Engaging over 100 local resources; from artists, to videographers, community organizations and liaisons, cultural institutions, restaurants, across almost 40 different neighborhoods, capturing hours and hours of footage in service of this 2-and-a-half-minute video. To capture the authenticity of the local sound, we commissioned local artist, DJ Blaqstarr to create an original piece of music scored to the footage itself.
