The Concept

Much time and effort are being spent every day working hard to sculpt, refine or strengthen our bodies exercising and staying healthy - but how often do we focus on our mental health? 

In our demanding lives, our focus is obstructed by the everyday stresses and anxieties we collect on a daily basis, but often not enough focus is aimed at improving our mental wellness proportionally. 

Hype Fitness intends to improve this problem by introducing a unique 8-week meditation based fitness class 
that not only focuses on our physical health but also your everyday mindfulness. Using scientifically-proven methods, Meditation-Based cognitive therapy (MBCT) uses a number of exercises to improve your self-awareness, reduce tension and fatigue and improve overall happiness.*

The practices taught are used to cultivate awareness of one's thoughts, encouraging better engagement with the everyday problems that arise. Neuroscientists have been hard at work testing these methods and have proven that regular meditation can reduce stress, anxiety and even depression.*

Combining these practices into your regular physical activity will aim to leave you feeling sharper in both body and mind, ready to take on the world with a better grip and understanding of how your mind works - but more importantly, leaving you increasingly content and happier.
