Antarctic Takt by Dasha Rush. v 2.0
Antarctic Takt - Audio Visual project written by Dasha Rush, developed and performed in collaboration with the visual artist Stanislav Glazov, an audio/video story that sends the audience on an imaginative journey to an abstract Antarctica.
Although it was originally developed exclusively for the Berlin-based Atonal Festival 2014,
it was also showcased at Montreal's Mutek 2015, followed by more representations like:
- Resonanz Festival Tokyo in Tokyo,
- L.E.V. Festival in Spain,
- Auditorim In Lima Peru ,
- Volt Festival in Sweden,
- Ars Electronica 2016(3x Full HD),
- Barbican Centre London(2K version),
- Alexendriinsky Theater Saint Petersburg (Panoramic version 6x FullHD)
Our target was to develop all virtual world of Antarctica in realtime render using Derivative TouchDesigner in order to make it soundreactive.
After 3 years of continuous redeveloping we achieve possibility to output it in superhigh resolution.
