Here is a sneak-peek of the working of the mockup.
The pharmacist/ caretaker/family member updates the medication details on the application which includes user assigned, medicine name, dosage, timings and other notes.
Once the details are updated the pill dispenser displays the next dosage time on the screen. When it is the schedules time, it buzzes and alerts the user that it is time to take the medicine.
The user then presses the dispense button and the required number of pills are dispensed.
Once the user receives the medicine, a text/email/app notification is sent to the family and caretaker to inform them that the medicine is taken or not.
