Back in August 2017, I was luck enough to be chosen as one of the freelancers to be part of the team to work on the rebrand of the #1 music channel in the Philippines, MYX. I was assigned with 4 of the many shows that needed an opening title animation, the instructions were pretty simple: "Play with it and have fun" which I most certainly did! The second of four is the show named "MYX Olypics", where celebrities are put into test with their music and pop culture knowledge.
The illustrations were provided by the studio that hired me, the amazing folks over at The Acid House. This was a bit different with the first board as it was more on a play on transitions from one illustration/ layout to another. I definitely had fun animating the character, which I named "Muscle Guy".
