Before the East India company came up with their startup idea or carbon credits were traded, Dilli was the original city of traders. The city of wholesalers and arms dealers. Of pan-walas and political brokers. A city of shops and shopkeepers. You could find anything and everything in the shops here. Everyone here had something to sell.
And while you find yourself on either side of the trade inside some shady shop or even shadier man/woman on the other side, may we hope that this year be, as the Chinese would probably say, the year of the 'best deal'.
