This was a personal project of mine, attempting to animate a few icons for an item in the MMORPG Black Desert Online. The top part of the video shows animated overlay (in examples 1 & 2) on top of the already existing icon in the game. And example 3 shows how my own custom icons would look in the game. The bottom part displays the set of custom animated icons i did (4 of them) and a couple of 3D orbit animations i thought look cool.
Bellow are some behind the scenes. From a 3D model in Cinema 4D, to an animation rendered in After Effects using Element 3D. With Superluminal Stardust for the particle system.
