Anadolu Efes Sports Club was established in 1976 with the takeover of Kadıköy Spor under the name of Efes Pilsen Sports Club.Under the chairmanship of Tuncay Özilhan, General Captain Pano Natof, Club Manager Berna Sirmen, Manager Talat Öztoprak and trainer Faruk Akagün, as well as administrative and technical staff, started to work to contribute to the development of sports in the country.The main purpose of our club; To take Turkish sports forward and to make all young people love our basketball by successfully representing our country on European courts. In May 2011, the name of Efes Pilsen Sports Club was changed in accordance with the relevant TAPDK regulation dated 07 January 2011. As of this date, the club continues as Anadolu Efes Sports Club.
