Jainaba Jobarteh started growing fresh produce in her neighborhood in Madrid several years ago. Since then, she has organized a co-op around urban farming like no one has ever seen in her community before. Jainaba Jobarteh has since supplemented her efforts by giving lectures on eating healthy and using as much vegetable and fruit matter as possible. Her efforts have helped the community eat healthier and find the ingredients they need for the best meals. She makes it possible for children to grow up in her community with the right eating habits that will help them later in their lives.

Jainaba Jobarteh studied nutrition but she found herself at an impasse when she graduated. She wanted to help the under-privileged, so she started a community garden in her neighborhood. After a while, the police noticed and told her to shut it down, but by then she had gathered so much community support that the order was never enforced. From then on, she has been legal and educational about helping her community eat healthier.

Jainaba Jobarteh has helped many people in her community get the best ingredients for their daily meals.
