As a Photoshop assignment, I created a Virtual Invitation aka. “Evite”. I decided to design an Evite for the Cherry Blossom Festival that happens every year at VanDusen Botanical Garden. I chose a simple design and colour scheme inspired by the colours of Cherry Blossoms. Originally a festival from Asia, I introduced a little bit of their culture into my design, with the pictures of a temple and cherry blossom flowers. This project was completed entirely using Photoshop, both for the photo manipulation as well as the final composition.
