Ingenio Taboga's
property is crossed by the vast Bebedero River, allowing for fresh water irrigation and managing the area in a sustainable way. The Bebedero River is key to the development of the sugar mill and the adjacent town and its people. In addition, its natural beauty provides for an unparalleled landscape with unique and amazing scenery. The location and conditions of the Bebedero River were key in the creation of Ingenio Taboga, and it is a natural treasure that must be preserved for future generations.

100 Years of history
Julio Sánchez Lépiz transformed his ideals into progress, and his every priority was aimed at the fundamental values of social justice. He held on to his vision of equality even when part of this property became illegally occupied by farmers. To him, land should belong to whoever is able to farm it, and not necessarily to the title holder. “Let´s not fight against those who, in spite of not holding an ownership title, wish to farm abandoned lands… I own plenty, but I´m convinced one does not need more land than the parcel in which one will be buried”.Julio Sánchez, 1930. A visionary’s philosophy followed by his family has evolved into the Farm-to-Table company that today is Taboga Sugar Mill.

Before and After
The previous logo is based on the industrial era with the gears. The new logo is inspired by the son of the sugarcane plant that forms a "T", positioning the green color to reflect the company's commitment policies and give it a fresher image.
