SELO FEMAR 50 ANOS
O selo comemorativo traz a identidade visual do Cinquentenário da FEMAR (Fundação de Estudos do Mar). O fundo em degradê de cor azul simboliza o horizonte, encontro do céu e mar. A figura estilizada mostra a metade de um navio, cuja proa compõe o algarismo cinco. O zero em dourado completa o número ‘50’, em alusão ao Jubileu de Ouro, sugerindo a existência de um sol que ilumina os caminhos da Fundação. No campo inferior, é inscrita a frase que há muitos anos a Fundação tem associado às suas finalidades e atividades: “Trazendo o Mar até você”. Na margem esquerda do selo, figura o acrônimo “FEMAR” que significa “Fundação de Estudos do Mar”.
The stamp brings the visual identity of the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Institution. The shades of blue in the background represent the horizon, a sky touching the sea. The stylized figure shows the half of a ship, whose bow becomes the number five. The zero in gold completes the number 50 in allusion to the Golden Jubilee and suggest the existence of a sun that illuminates the paths of the Institution. In the lower field is inscribed the phrase that for many years the Institution has associated with its purposes and activities: "Bringing the sea to you". In the left margin of the stamp appears the acronym "FEMAR" that means "Foundation of Studies of the Sea".
Durante a Cerimônia de Comemoração do Cinquentenário da FEMAR, realizada no dia 31/05/2016 na Sede Social do Clube Naval no Rio de Janeiro, foi lançado oficialmente pela ECT (Correios), o selo personalizado e o carimbo a ser utilizado para obliteração.
At the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the FEMAR Institution held on 05/31/2016 at the Clube Naval, the postage stamp was officially launched by ECT (Brazilian Post and Telegraph Company).
