This project is an attempt at utilizing Jacques Lacan's Gaze Theory. All photographs have been taken in Akron Ohio with a Pentax 67 Medium Format camera. This series takes a look into the working class and their environment. Lacan says that when looking at art, it can gaze back at you and tap into your unconscious desires.
