Perceptronium
Modular type
Perceptronium is a lower-case typeface based on simple geometric modules.
The chosen name — introduced by Max Tegmark, meaning "a hypothetical state of matter capable of giving rise to self-awareness and subjectivity" — is a reference in relation to the fact that language and symbols are themselves a product of consciousness, and can only be interpreted correctly by a subjective viewer; according to the theory, if consciousness is a state of matter, letters (and consequently, words) are some of its aspects — mutable; never devoid of interpretation; conjoined name and form.
Modules used in each letter: semicircle (small and large), square (one size), triangle (one size), and rectangle (one size).
