In this photo, I wanted to capture the emphasis of the Santa and nutcracker ornaments through the gate.  This image tells a story of Christmas decorations that are about to be set up.  This pertains to the overall story by bringing in new ornaments to old Christmas settings.  

This picture I think has great value, because it shows the bright shine of the lamps.  If the lamps were not shining the room would look rather dark.  This image tells the story of an old room who has not seen any decorations in quite some time.  This image pertains to the story because it is showing the before.  

In this photo I went with the element of line, seeing how cluttered it is it sort of makes your eyes go in a circle.  This image tells the story of finding old Christmas decorations that have been stored away for some years now.  

This photo was meant to capture the surprise, but looking at it, it in a way has rhythm in it as well (the picture frames).  This image tells the story of my Grandpa being surprised when he sees his house decorated for Christmas again.  This image pertains to the overall story because my Papa has not decorated his house since my Grandma passed away about 20 years ago.  

This photo was taken so show the emphasis on the older wooden ornaments.  This image is telling the story of now the older ornaments that are about to be placed on the tree.  It pertains to the story because these are the ornaments that used to be on their tree each year.  

This photo I think has good color in it, with the different hues of green they kind of hug the subject in the photo which is my Grandpa.  This image tells the story of my Papa decorating the tree.  It pertains to the story because as my Grandpa decorates he is reminiscing of past Christmas's.  

This photo was taken to show the emphasis of my Grandpas hands as he carefully places the ornaments on the tree.  Like the picture above it, it as well tells the story of my Grandpa decorating the tree.  The image pertains to the story by getting an up close shot of him decorating.  

This photo revisits value, as you can see the Christmas tree and lights are what really light up the room.  The rest of the room has quite a dark tone to it.  This image tells the story of Christmas again.  It pertains to the story because it shows the aftermath of set up.  

This photo shows a slight depth of field as my Grandpa seems to be popping out of the picture.  This image tells the story of his favorite drink every night during winter...... hot chocolate.  It pertains to the story because it adds to the holiday spirit that has been created in his living room.  

This image captures the unity him and my Grandma shared.  This image tells the story of my Papa looking down at breathtaking images of my Grandmother and the life they shared together.  It pertains to the story because his house has not been decorated since my Grandmas passing.
