Chris McConnell Business Cards - Musician - 2016
Local musician, Chris McConnell, asked me if I would design business cards for him to take on tour. I was more than happy to design something for my talented friend! He provided me with his information, some photography shot on a separate occasion, and some ideas of design styles he liked. After mocking up some options and getting his approval, I sent these cards off to the printer.
Since Chris is a guitarist, I really wanted to incorporate the shape of a pick into the design. I decided that the photography given could create that shape, and create some nice negative space. I requested that he get me his signature for a more personal touch as well.
