This is a project to celebrate the graduation of Point College Student 2017/18.
I've designed a graduation booklet, invitation envelope + cards + poster for this event.
CONCEPT

Why so clean? Why minimalist again?( questions from friends )
I was in a stationary shop, trying to buy some very premium papers from a Japanese Company, and there's a booklet showing samples of paper on the counter, it attracts my mind, not because of the paper, but the design, which has became my inspiration in this project.
Nowadays, minimalism has became a trend, so well-known so widely used, even though not all of them understand the real concept of minimalism, but still I have to say, that is the reason why I made this book in this clean way. Not because of following trend, but because of the trend could helps to attract people attention.
Graduation booklet is not only a tool for the college to share their students' work, but also to communicate with the public, to attracts students, to welcome people, and to promote themselves. Undoubtedly a good graduation booklet would help a school to promote themselves and increase the number of new intakes student. So, like I said, the minimalist trend, is definitely a way to help the school to attracts youngsters' attention.
Let's imagine, there's two different graduation booklet from two different college putting on a table in front of you, one looks minimalist, and one looks very commercial, which one would you choose? Remember, the trend.
WHY STAY CONNECTED

As I mentioned above, graduation booklet is a tool for the college to communicate with others, it connects people to the public, to the outside world. It allows people to know the college, and so is the graduating student. This book will be the connection, the opportunity for the world to recognize us, understand the creative field, and meet the Point College.
