Sketches for TascaMoon

Tascamoon is an animal that evoled in a very populated urban city. This is a terrain animal, he adapted his arms into demolition hammers to break asphalt, rocks and other solid material to feed.

Beside the strong and heavy arms in the front that serve not only to search for food but also to attack, he has 3 more legs, this time the legs are very slim and alongated on each side, mostly used for walking and balance.

The legs can make the TascaMoon to run very fast and be more tenacious, and with the help of the two strong arms in the front, not only that they can sustain the body but also to climb and reach much more easily. Although it can be a surprise but the thin legs are not weak. They are build with the same material as the shell. They are very strong and can sustain the body bot also helps for balancing the neck. On each leg has very pointy ends. They help to feel the velocity and the air currents in the atmosphere. At night he is known to move the feet eachother to make a metalic noise.

A very intelligent part of the body is the shell. It is known to be the most strongest material in the world. It works not only as a shield for his body but also when he sleeps all the legs and the head can draw back back in the shell and on the outside remains only the two blades of the demolision hammers in position of 'X'. Therefore ThascaMoon has a very frighteful look even when he sleeps.

He has a beak to comunicate with other secies and to feed but also to check if different things are comestible.

TascaMoon received his name because of the animal relationship with the phases of the moon. On his long neck he has feathers. those feathers only grow when is it full moon. The mating process it takes place only when is lunar eclipse. When moon is rising most of the time he is very active and in the daylight most of the time we will sleep.

This is zoomorphed animal called "TascaMoon" is a woodcut school project I did while I was at university.
