ABSTRACT PAINTINGS
Shawn Skeir's 'Abstract' art is created with layer upon layer of studied and considered colour and texture. This work is striking and provocative. The artist is known for vibrant colour in all of his bodies of work, but in the 'Abstracts', Skeir allows himself the most freedom to experiment. Both the compositions and the combinations of techniques are developed during the creative process.
