The music kicks you on all four out in the most deserted desert existence. The only thing that can be found here, is you, the dusty road and your old trusty Ford Mustang from 1967, which your radio blowing sound of Tyrant and Kings out of your speakers. This is just an illusion, an illusion I find myself in as soon as I hear the Tyrant and Kings.
The guitar is thick, heavy drums, bass and vocals on the pumps are dry as just the hell!
Together these elements, it provides the perfect Soundtrack to a tank of petrol on The American Highway ".
Tyrant and Kings, plays a genre which, unfortunately, does not have especially large commercial success here in Denmark. We're talking truck-rock, in best American-style. Inspired by good old-fashioned rock'n ' roll, Blues and Stone rock. They lie in the same category as bands such as; Led Zeppelin, Brant Bjork and Soundgarden.
The band is a Quartet consisting of Dennis Kasten on guitar and leadvocal, Mads Valther behind the drums, Jens Larsen on bass and Rune Habib on guitar.
