A repeating jaal (trellis) pattern of the familiar kairi motif is interpreted in a contemporary manner by colour blocking and a bold treatment but is still reminiscent of the hand-crafted block-printed textiles of Rajasthan that served as the reference for this pattern. Jute and wool are looped on a dot grid to create this rug.
