With this sculpture i had to develop a single sculpture that balances two contrasting structures or systems or patterns to form a dialectic, i.e., a logical argument. I had to build a sculpture composed of conflicting or dissonant sculptural patterns. One system is to be made of wood or wood by-products. I was able to use  second system using wood or any
other material, method or object. The purpose of this piece is to produce coherent form by integrating dissonant structural patterns and to expand notions of abstract meaning by combining disparate elements to form a whole.
