Glass empty, Glass half full
Emptiness simply means something is not filled. But it could also be an opinion; one's perspective.
For example, a glass-half-full, glass-half-empty kind of attitude; something that could be interpreted differently.
Also in psychological meaning, it is feeling empty, because people feel something is missing in life.
Henry Dean Plaza's Emptinesses are the abandoned space, forgotten trees, and feeling of emptiness coming from faces of people sitting around.
When do they feel empty? Why do people have this hole in their lives?
Referring back to the woman in the music video of AVICII, 2013, 'I could be the one', she was unhappy, sad, and even suicidal. Then she found her happiness as soon as she met the nature.
Maybe that is what people are missing.
The resting, I mean, really resting, caving into a cocoon.
