EP Promotion
The endless loop of days; The longing for something new, bright and different.
Can i have your attention for just one second? Allow me to introduce myself.
Body of Work is the very first EP released under OUJI, my electronic music alias.
A visual promotional system was created based on the kind of imagery we usually see on the front page of Behance:
Corporate branding, product photography, and a focus on eye-catching colors.
The first song to be released ahead of the EP was track 02, Neon Kids.A "moodboard" for the song was created, and each one of the images were posted to Instagram during the previous 3 days.Then, the main artwork and the song were revealed.
In november 30, Body of Work was released via bandcamp as a "name-your-price" feature;
(It can also be downloaded for free by typing 0 in the price)
Soundcloud and Bandcamp
were updated with special banners
As a promotional item included with the EP download,
a pdf booklet with lyrics, digital artwork and short texts was created:


The Body of Work Project Proposal
Different pieces of digital art were made for each individual song,
focusing on creating a surreal, "plastic" looking environment inspired by commercial stock photos

Using stock footage as a base to mantain a "corporate product presentation" vibe ,
a brief promo video for the EP was produced.
I experimented with short, simple animation loops to use as a background image of the videos
that presented each song on Instagram
