Night Owl
When you do feel so gutted for losing someone in your life, someone who was here all the time, but out of sudden you come to realize that this person is gone, but he is consciously present. Thus, I thought about an owl that would love to go way too far from people, and prefer not to look at them which is why she is looking to the other side with the moon witnessing her grief.
I prefer the cold weather at night with the blue filter as the blues always refer to the sadness and grief.
Here you can notice i used the ice on the branch as a refer to the cold weather which most of the people get depressed at
